The T2 and 23 buses stop right in front of the building, making it possible to commute from The Kenwood without a car. Many residents take the bus to the Friendship Heights METRO station, which is less than a mile away from The Kenwood, and commute elsewhere from there. The school bus stop for children is also directly in front of the building, and the residents of The Kenwood have the luxury of living in one of the finest school districts in the country. Montgomery County Public Schools is a Gold Medal rated district that received the highest “education quotient” (EQ) in the state.

A short walk up the Capital Crescent Trail will take you past a favorite playground and soccer field for local children, the matchless and famous cherry blossom trees of the Kenwood neighborhood, and into downtown Bethesda, where countless shops and exceptional restaurants can be found.
